# Partner Terms

> The Shoprocket partner programme in plain language: 30% of plan fees for as long as each store pays, paid monthly by PayPal or Wise once you are owed $50.

Last updated 8 October, 2026

These terms apply to you once you join the Shoprocket partner programme from your Shoprocket account. They sit alongside our [Terms of Service](https://v3.shoprocket.io/terms.md), which still cover your own account and every store you use. Where the two disagree about the programme, these terms win.

## 1. Joining

The programme is for web designers, freelancers, agencies and anyone else who builds or recommends online shops for other people. Joining is free: you accept these terms in your dashboard and you are a partner. One partner account per person.

## 2. Which stores earn you commission

- **Stores you build.** A store you create as a client store from your partner area.
- **Stores you refer.** A store opened by someone who signed up through your referral link. Your link is remembered for 30 days and counts for the first store that person opens.

A store's partner is set once, when it is created, and does not change when you hand the store over or when someone else starts paying for it.

## 3. Commission

- You earn **30% of the plan fees** we collect for each of your stores, after discounts and tax.
- Commission is earned on plan fees only. Shipping labels and other charges we pass on earn nothing.
- It is recurring: you earn on every paid plan invoice, for as long as the store pays.
- If a payment you earned on is refunded or credited, the same share of your commission is taken back. If we have already paid it to you, it comes off your next commission.

## 4. Stores you pay for yourself

You earn commission on client stores you pay for yourself: that is the programme's discount for agencies. Apart from that, you may not earn on your own business. Signing yourself, your own business or people acting for you up through your own link to earn commission is not allowed, and we will not pay commission earned that way.

## 5. Payouts

- We pay monthly, by PayPal or Wise, to the details you give in your partner area.
- We pay once you are owed at least $50 (or the same amount in the currency your stores pay in). A smaller balance carries over to the next month.
- Your partner area shows what you have earned, what you are owed and every payout we have sent.
- You are responsible for any tax due on your commission.
- We may withhold commission earned through fraud or a breach of these terms.

## 6. How you describe Shoprocket

You may say you are a Shoprocket partner. You may not say you are Shoprocket or speak for us, and you may not promise your clients anything we do not offer, such as a rebranded dashboard or prices other than our published ones.

## 7. Changes and ending

- We may change these terms, including the commission rate, with 30 days' notice by email. Commission already earned is paid on the terms it was earned under.
- You can leave the programme at any time by emailing [hello@shoprocket.io](mailto:hello@shoprocket.io).

## 8. Questions

Email [hello@shoprocket.io](mailto:hello@shoprocket.io) and a person will answer.
